Adhesive for polycarbonate sheet.

I've bonded PC sheet to ABS mouldings in the past with no problems. After trialling quite a few glues I found the 3M 2 pack adhesives used in conjunction with a mixing nozzle applicator to be the most effective. I don't recall the exact grade but I'm sure your local 3M reseller should be able to help you out. Mkae sure you inform them if glue flexibility is required though as some of their glues are quite rigis post cure.

I would suggest using a urethane adhesive. It bonds to almost everything and gives structural support. The only time that I have witnessed failure was in the presence of oil.

PC will solvent stress crack at the slightest sign of aromatic hydrocarbons or chlorinated hydrocarbons, so nomatter what type of adhesive, be it silicone, methacrylate, urethane, make sure that threr is no aromatic hydrocarbons present as a solvent, OR AS AN IMPURITY IN THE SOLVENT.
This also applies to cleaning and primeing fluids.
I have seen so called aliphatic solvents crack PC, as they had a small amount of aromatics present as impurities. This was not declared on the data sheet, so caused considerable problem before the source was identified

Interesting Line of thought and worthy of repeating here is the danger of spraypainting of motor cycle crash helmets. The solvents used result in the destruction of the properties of the helmet rendering if only marginally more effective in the case of impact than the typical cloth headband often used by the motorbike cowboys.
We often used to be approached to decorate helmets to the personal taste of the user and always turned this away because of the danger of damage to the PC

Materials
There are many polycarbonate houses online. Each has its own choice of adhesive. Most are epoxy base. Polycarebonate can be heat welded to itself. Those are the best bonds.
