Adding ventilation to flight simulator?

We have a flight simulator built out of an old helicopter. There are two air vents, both 1.5" in diameter. We want to connect a blower to the helicopters ducts to supply air to the pilot and co-pilot students. My question is:

1. What is a comfortable amount of air that can be blown on the pilot/co-pilot? In other words, does anyone know how the average rate air moves in our automotive air ducts? Or maybe even the amount of air that comes out in the air vents of a jet liner?

2. The diameter for the outlet ducts in the helicopter are pretty small. 1.5". How many CFM would it take to cause a lot of noise?

If anyone can point me in the right direction I'd greatly appreciate it.

I am not a helicopter pilot but I would surmise that when you fly helicopters, the air get very cold as you get to altitude,even in the summer, and I am not quiet sure if these helicopters are heated, so I would simulate environmental conditions by keeping the simulators cold and even depressurize the flight simulator to simulate altitude. An altitude chamber may also be a good choice for these potential pilots in order for them to learn about the effects of hypoxia.
