In reference to the following pictures, I would like to add the indicated profile (red arrows) from the sketch in the first picture to the extruded model in the second and third pictures and revolve it to produce a cylindrical knob on the part. The knob extend from the part at a compound angle from the front plane. Could anyone give me some guidance on this? Specially how to position the sketch profile at the proper angle to the part.

Thank you very much.

Thank you, Laik.

I get this error message: "Sketch is open, self intersecting, or intersects the centerline."

A revolve feature in a cad program seems useless if you must have a hole through the center of the part.
Is there a way I can make a solid part with no through hole using the revolve feature? In other words, can I use a sketched profile
that is closed, but that intersects at the centerline? The error message seems to answer my question but maybe
there is another way to do this?

I see, I got it to work. Thank you too, ctopher.
