Hi Folks,
My attempts at adding new I/O modules to one of our remote I/o panels causes the 1794-ASB adapter to fault. The rack in which i am adding the new modules currently have 6 modules installed. My approach was to install the terminal base, insert the 1974-IB16 modules and attempt to change the rack size in PLC 5 program by doing an AUTOCONFIG (also tried changing from 3/4 to FULL). After changing the size the panel would fault.
Please provide any ideas on other config methods. areas i need to address when installing these modules.I have verified that all the I/O panels have the same baud rate, no complementary set-up etc (standard).
Thanks
Wgn
