Adding a line-feed in a custom property.

We use a custom property for a revision description on our drawings. Does anyone know if I can add a line-feed character into the text so that I can create multi-line revisions ?
I've tried windows character map but can't see anything, and I can't remember if there is a key-in code for a line-feed - of the type ALT-0176 etc.

I think %CR is the code to use, but I'm not sure. Open up a callout and look at the symbols there. One is for a carriage return and fills in the proper code. You can use that code in other callout locations to force a line-feed, but it doesn't always work.

Thanks for trying swertel, but the %CR in a callout gives the 'Runout' arrow symbol.
I used Google and found that the carriage return character is <Alt>0013 and the line feed character is <Alt>0010.
I've tried both but they do not work in any form where you are typing into a single-line combo-box, such as you get in File>Properties>Summary>Title, and also in custom properties.
It does work in multi-line combo-boxes, callouts and text boxes, but you can use the normal Enter/Return keys here anyway.
As an aside, did you know that in dimensioning you can use <Shift>+<Enter> to add a line feed to the subfix text of a dimension, but that doesn't work in the dimension prefix, suffix or superfix fields.
You can also move the subfix text below the dimension line by RMB on the dimension then Properties>Spacing and set the "Dimension above line gap" to -1.25 for a single line subfix, or -2.75 for a double-line subfix.
We are still mainly on V14 (dont ask why !) so is it different for V15-V17 ?

Hi,

In Hole Callout starting with V16 or V15, you can click a button to go to the next line.

The button creates a code "%RT".

I don't think you can use that in a custom property but you never know...
