Add Materials To Inventor 2009

Does anyone know of a way to add new materials to Inventor 2009? The Help file isn't of much help to me on this. Thanks!

Open part template. Format..style and standard editor. expand and find a similar material, click new and give it a name, add material properties and assign a color style. Save..

If your using a style library then save your template and then do format..save styles to style library and make sure to select yes next to the new style.
