Hi

Is it possible to add an existing 2D drawing to a 2D drawing so that it is one drawing with two pages?

Cheers,
Wayne.

You have two existing one-sheet drawings that you want to combine into one two-sheet drawing? Highlight the SH01 in the tree of one of the drawings, right click+copy. Open second drawing, in the tree, right click+paste. It will prompt you to ask where you want to insert, say before or after current sheet, hit ok, and voila, you have a second sheet. Note: All of the existing properties of the pasted drawing will be retained, so you will have to tweak your title blocks, etc.

One trick I have done if you want to add a 2D sketch to a Solidworks drawing (such as some reference geometry or a pneumatic schematic) is this. Begin by creating an empty view (it's a tool on the toolbar), then do all the sketching you want in that view. SW treats it like any other view. If you move the view all the elements in that view move with it.

JBoggs, thats a cool trick that I will take advantage of. Thank you!
