ADC scaling

I am inputting to a PIC 0-10VDC. I think the max voltage, Vdd is 5Vdc. How do I go about scaling my 0-10VDC?

Melone, I realized that I after I understood my own question. Long day I guess. I did have question regarding Vcc for a PIC uC. I have 5VDc supplied to me. DO I need to use a 5V-5V regulator for the Vcc voltage?

You do not need a 5V - 5V supply.. (Never seen one even.)

PICs often do not need any regulation to their VCC depending on what you are doing.

You definitely DO want at least one decoupling cap to your Vcc.

If you are using the A2D section and using Vcc as a reference you need a regulator unless you are using a ratiometric excitation scheme.

Consider adding a 5.1v zener to the chip Vdd input.
With a small value resistor from the incoming
supply. Bypass as much as you have room for.
