actuator with high gain and high bandwidth

I have a mass of about 1grams. I like to actuate it at x,z direction with a stroke of +/- 1mm. Magnet to be used for stator and coils on the mass. Do you have good idea on material to suspend the moving mass including? Actuator bandwidth is >4kHz.

Suggestion: Perhaps, very thin nylon or silon line could be used.
