Hi
Is it okay to apply anti rust oil on the acetal material?

What specific corrosion inhibitor is in the oil? POM is ok for some oils, but is attacked by a lot of solvents, and is listed as being poorly resistant t "grease" for some reason? Ok for diesel fuel, but poor resistance to fuel oils...

So, dunno. Why do you ask? Are you worried about the POM rusting?

the part we have consists of acetal and metal. And noticed the metal is being rust.
I just want to be cautious if we can apply the anti rust on the assembly. it is most likely that acetal will be oiled..
