Has anyone ever gotten this error, or know how to stop it

Even though it may not be related it may help to know your computer specs. When KC 10.0 was first released there was some reports of “access violation” errors. They seemed to be related to imported settings, such as toolbars, from earlier versions, and video card settings. Try using the default display settings and set up your toolbars within version 10. I believe the last 2 patches, 10.01 and 10.02 addressed some of these issues.
