Acceptable standard of Lockbolt 1

Dear everyone:
As we known,The accepable standard is measured by 'go and not go' gage to the Hi-loks or Lockbolts.however,according to experience,the 1-3 threads be visible is acceptable for installation of Hi-lok.so,how many threads can be visible or how long stem should be above the collar are acceptable for the Lockbolt?Somebody has the experience can share with me.THKs for your kindly reply in advance.

That is not a picture of a Lockbolt.

Suggest you get the install manual from the fastener manufacturer.

And post these aircraft questions in the Aircraft Engineering forum. Most peo0e here are Civil Structures.
