When I am in an AutoCAD session and click "New" for a new drawing, I am directed to the folder containing our modified template files per the Search Path. Good!

But when I simply open an AutoCAD session and start drawing in "Drawing 1", AutoCAD is using a template from somewhere other than the Search Path. That means that none of the standard fonts are setup, and none of the standard settings, layers, dimstyles, etc, that are in our modified templates appear. Bad!

Question: is there a way to find out what AutoCAD is using as the startup template? Any guesses?
I will be quite grateful for any help!!!

Cheers . . . Rocky

from a little searching, found at AUGI...

You can set the template for startup / qnew in the
options\files\template settings\default template file name for qnew.

To get rid of the dialogue set STARTUP to 0 (zero).
