ACAD 2004 Mtext Window

Is there a way to make the Mtext window look like the old one, I don't like the "split" window of both the text window and the controls window (why is the "OK" pick so small on this as compared to ACAD2002...)

One thing you can do to help is change your MTEXTFIXED setting from 0 to 1. This will take the transparency away and will make your text window the same size.
