Ac Milliamp current generator

Folks,
Does anybody know wehre I can get a device to generate variable milliamp current (AC) between 100-600mamp
I am not looking for a fancy device. Just a simple mamp ac current generator. I know I can use voltage and resistor ;however I need it to be controlled via a HMI or PLC.

There are probably 30 companies that sell these.

What you should be searching for is a "Programmable Power Supply".

They come with analog inputs that will dictate the output current or voltage.

They also come with RS-485, RS-232, Ethernet, current inputs, and probably any other control method you think up in a deep nightmare.
