Can anyone explain to me what an AC Isolator is used for in a 332A traffic signal cabinet? The guidelines I am using indicate that a DC Isolator would be used for ped push buttons, remote vehicle detector inputs and other low voltage imputs, but it does not list any examples of when an AC Isolator is needed.
