I am building an aqua-ammonia single pressure absorption refrigerator and am having trouble getting it going.
Design Data:- Aqua-ammonia solution:- 33ammonia
Working pressure 400 psi
At generator temperatures up to 165 deg C
Generator inlet tube:- 34 Deg C
Perculator return line:- 30
Condensor inlet:- 60
Evaperator:- ambient (25)
At gererator temperaturers over 165
Generator inlet:- 30
Perculator return:- 44
Condensor inlet:- 119
Evaperator:- 31
I have had great trouble getting the pertculator to work and have tried many designs. It appears that if the perc does not work, i get down to 6 deg at the evaperator. It now appears that with the perc workings I get no cooling at all.
Any suggestion would be appreciated.
