Absorption cycle refrigeration coupled with solar panels, does anyone know of instances where it has been used?

It was used on a very large scale 2 yrs ago on a natural gas fired combined cycle power plant in Arizona or Califormia. The solar heating system ( parabolic mirrors, trough, hot oil indirect heat transfer medium) was used to input the heat to the absorption unit, and the chiller is used to cool the gas turbine inlet air.

I dont know where you live, but if you are interested about cheking on the installation of absorption systems contact the Cooley Dickinson hospital in Mass. There, however the heat is generated from boilers. Also, about twenty years ago, Amherst College had such a system but I dont know if it is still in use.
