One of the most abrasion resistant polymers is polyurethane - especially cast (cross-linked) versions. Whether it will be sufficient or not remains to be trialled!! (it's usually available in stock sheet (slab) form and machining is usually done by water-jet cutting as it's vitually impossible to machine otherwise, due to it's high tear strength. There are also the injection mouldable polyester elastomers such as Hytrel (Du Pont) and Arnitel (DSM) et.al. They also can be quite good but not as good as PU - a lot depends on application.
