I hope everything is okay!
I will detail my problem.
I'm trying to model a shot peening process with an software called EDEM. for the purpose to coupling it with abaqus, he asked me to found a contact particle_geometry, and sometime the software turned off, without resualts.

In order to analyze the influence of discrete particles on finite element model you must create a contact interaction in Abaqus. This is actually the moat important part of the analysis setup since it only makes sense to couple DEM and FEM when there's such interaction allowed. I'm sure you can find some tutorials and examples in the documentation. Visit websites of both software vendors - EDEM and Abaqus (Dassault Systemes Simulia) for more information.

I'm afraid that there are no such examples in the Abaqus documentation. However in this case EDEM handles discrete particles so analysis setup in Abaqus should be simple. Take a look at the EDEM software websites. I've seen some tutorials about Abaqus cosimulation there.

i tried to follow the tutorials , but i had the same error message .
