Hello,

I am currently working on an assignment, and I am confused as to the units I should use for my Abaqus simulation. The brief informs that the units used for the provided Abaqus model are: mm, Newton, second.
A pressure load of 2.2105 MPa needs to be applied.

Should I type down 2.2105 or 2,210,500.0 in the Load window ?

Thank you for your help.

Abaqus doesn’t support units so consistent unit system has to be used in a simulation. If milimeters are utilized as length units then pressure should be defined in MPa and stresses will also have this unit.
