ABAQUS restart file missing

Hi

Try to find some wisdom here.

I did a general static analysis and set up a restart command in step/output/restart.....

The message file says restart written in step 1, increment #, but there is no .RES file in the work directory. Anybody knows why? Some solutions are appreciated.
