Hello community,
I am working on a rack and pinion problem in abaqus. I've been trying to do this in 2D (The parts are 3D -> Discrete Rigid -> shell) but failed each time.
I just want a line-segment (rack) to move linearly and cause a circle (pinion) to rotate as per given relation (gear ratio).
Can someone please help with this?
