The poisson ratio of 0.49900 exceeds 0.495 (the bulk modulus of 3.33333e+19 exceeds 100 times the shear modulus of 6.67111e+16) for the elastic material named steel. However, a hybrid type element is not used. This may cause convergence problems. It is recommended that you change the element type to a hybrid element; however, you can also convertthis error message to a warning messageby setting the environment variable nonhybrid_incompress to warning or by adding *diagnostics, nonhybrid=warning to the input file (not recommended).

I created an iron material and my Poisson ratio was 0.499. However, the analysis failed. How can I improve it?

Can you use a bit more descriptive titles for your threads ? For example, here even "Poisson ratio error" would be much better.

Are you sure it should be almost incompressible ? Does it make sense physically in your case ? Especially for iron (named steel)… But if you really want to use this value, you should do what the error message suggests - use hybrid elements.

There isn't an iron material in the world that has a poisson's ratio of 0.499. That PR is only typical of hyperelastic rubber type materials.
