ABAQUS: Plotting the distance between two nodes over time

Hello,

does anybody know how to plot a distance between two nodes over time in ABAQUS in a XY-chart?

it would be really helpful to know.

You could use the COORD output variable (nodal coordinates) and create your custom output as a mathematical operation (equation) based on those coordinates.

or just output the nodal displacements vs time/load, and plot it in Excel.
