Hello all

If i know all laminate modulus. Then can i directly use the laminate modulus in abaqus to simulate my tests and will get the similar stress and strain as per experiments?

If not then please advice me how to proceed.

I am looking forward for the response and thanks in advance

Kind regards

In Abaqus there is a tool called Composite Layup (in the Property module). It allows you to define all layers of the laminate (for shell or solid elements) by specifying their material (you have to create a separate material for each layer if they have different elastic moduli), thickness and orientation.
