Hello,

i would like to know how it is possible to import a Stress field into a similar Model.
I have a Model 1, which is a Beam under a load and as the result the Stress of the Beam. Then there is the second Model 2 with same Beam, same Mesh and boundary conditions. In Addition there are Parts underneath the Beam as reinforcement. I want to have the same Stress in Model 1 and Model 2 for the Beam, but the reinforcement should not be stressed in the beginning(initial). Is there any way to use the results of the Model 1 as initial Input parameters for Model 2?

I tried to use predifined field and import the Stress from the Output Data file of Model 1, but that does not work.

Is there another way to import Stress or this actually the right way?

Cheers.

Check the import capability (*IMPORT keyword). You can transfer the deformed mesh and material state associated with it between Abaqus analyses.

i read that part in Abaqus-docs and i tried a bit of it, but nothing worked. Maybe you can be more precise.
