Abaqus-Impact load simulation

I am simulating Impact loading on facades. I modeled Target as shell and projectile as discrete rigid SOLID. In assembly, it's showing an error and the message received is to change shape from solid to shell. Can we assemble a solid Rigid and shell target or should I follow the message and change shape from solid to shell for Projectile?

You can model the projectile as deformable solid and apply rigid body constraint to it so that you don’t have to convert it to shell.
