Hi,
I'm relatively new to Abaqus and just started working on a project. My problem is that I need to apply a force in the first step, then activate the contact between to surfaces and after that the force from the beginning should decrease to 0. It is important that the expansion due to the first force is given while the contact is getting activated because otherwise the two parts would interfere. Basically I want to stretch the part so that the is no interference and then activate the contact between both parts. I don't know how to manage this. Thank you!!
