I am modelling a CFST column, where I am joining two C profiles modelled as shell elements. I want to use the beam connector and fastener theory available in Abaqus CAE...please explain how to use this options ...

Fasteners in Abaqus are just utility features that simplify the definition of connections consisting of connector elements or beam MPCs attached via distributing coupling constraints to the rest of the model. Check the documentation example "Buckling of a column with spot welds" to see how to define them.
