Hi all,
I was wondering if anyone has any experience modelling ground motion from an earthquake in abaqus. I am not looking for analysis of a structure, just a small mesh where the applied wave can propagate.
My questions are:
1. Is it possible?
2. Are the results reliable?
I am going to be comparing my results with that of a discontinuous galerkin method in MatLab, and I want to compare with some commercial software.
