Hi guys, I'm in my last year engineering and am tasked to build a bicycle helmet. I want to use ABAQUS to get stress-strain curves as well as to do impact testing. Through thorough research, the "crushable foam" model in ABAQUS should be used for the foam (EPS). I am however having a lot of difficulty finding data online to input as properties.

Would anyone know what inputs should be used for Expanded Polystyrene Foam (EPS) with a density of 80 kg/m^3?

Thank you

There are several scientific articles where EPS material is modeled as a crushable foam in Abaqus. Check for example these research papers:
- "Finite element analysis of expanded polystyrene foam under multiple compressive loading and unloading" U.E. Ozturk et al.
- "Mechanical behaviour of EPS foam under combined compression-shear loading" Ch. Ling et al.
