a problem sweeping a sketch 1

Hello..
I am creating a buttress thread using a sketch and sweeping it along a helix.
Yet, as shown in the enclosed picture, the space rotates as the helix rotates. this isn't what I had hoped for. (We are looking at a section with no boolean performed. The red indicates interference and shows exactly what I'm having trouble with.)
The sketch is fully constrained and I have fully "fixed" the vertical line on the inside of the tooth, hoping it would stay vertical.
I am hoping someone in this forum can help me out. BTW, I'm running NX6!

Recommended for you

Use the swept command with the orientation method set to vector direction. For the vector direction, choose the axis of the screw. This will keep the section from rotating as it is swept.
