I have a chance to pick up a used plotter both HP's. One is a 755CM and the other is a 3000CP. The 755CM looks like it would suit our purpose plotting up to "D" size. The 3000CP looked bigger and may be used more for graphics but I can't find a lot of information on either. Can anyone add to what little I've been able to find so far?

Thanks,

Dennis

We used an HP 750C at a previous job and it was a workhorse. It was fast for line drawings, but we also did some graphics on it. Never used the 755CM though. The "C" is the designation for color, but not sure what the M is for. We used it for ACAD and MDT. You might want to make sure you can still get the drivers for these because I believe the 755CM is a discontinued item.

Here is the instruction manual for the 755CM if that helps.

smcadman,

Thanks for the info especially the manual. I think we'll go with this one. I checked the hp driver site and downloaded the windows XP driver I hope it works.
