The contractor submitted Tyler Union cut sheets for the ductile iron elbow for our fire standpipe project. However, the label on the part shows "UFCO" which according to the Contractor is a part produced by a union foundry owned jointly by Tyler Union. The specification requires the part to be the latest model. Since Tyler Union merged in 2007, we want to make sure that it is not a part produced by Union before the Merger. We are planning to contact Tyler Union but would like to hear any input from the forum.
