90.1 Efficiencies

Now that our energy code adopted the 90.1-2004 as a part of the energy code, how do people stste the minimum efficiency for a piece of equipment. Do you put the minimum efficiency of the equipment on the schedule sheet or the minimum efficiency allowed by 90.1? Or is the specification the best place to handle it? Would a general note stating the equipment must meet 90.1? I consider that being lazy
 
I place it in the specifications, Division 1 and all applicable divisions. Using just a schedule may do the job for mechanical, but you also have to addres envelope, piping and plumbing, and electrical. That works out well also for commissioning, if planned.
