+5V Switching Regulator

Anyone know of a cheap +5V switching regulator with the following spec

Vin 1.6 - 7.5V

Vout +5V

Iout 100mA

That's a pretty tough input requirement..... the regulator will have to be some sort of buck-boost configuration. Where have you looked?

The MAX710, MAX711, Micrel mic2570 and the Linear LT1073 look quite reasonable although I'm sure quite expensive.

These are the few I have come up with. Just wondering if there are any others?

What is your definition of expensive? MAX1672 is $2.65 according to Maxim's website:

I think this will meet your requirements... depending on how many you want, its around $1.50
