5Cr-Mo-V fatigue data (S/N)

Hello,

I am looking for fatigue data (alternating or maximum stress vs. number of cycles) for 5Cr-Mo-V aircraft steel. Does anyone know of a good source? The fatigue data is not included in MMPDS-01.

Hi jbaylor :

I read about 5Cr-Mo-V in ARC CP 812(1965). The report includes
a fatigue curve for that alloy (done by Westland Aircraft).Hope to be useful for you.

thank you. It looks like I could use the one curve for the H50 as un-notched (Kt=1) data.

I also found some data in the Aerospace Structural Metals Handbook for a similar alloy.
