Good morning,
I notice SW doesn't have 5052 Alloy as the standard out-of-the-box material. The question is why, with all the sheet metal designers and engineers out there?

I need to create and edit a material for 5052 Alloy. I know how to create and edit this, but need someone to help filling in the blanks for values in "Physical Properties"

Value:

Elastic Modulus=
Poissons Ratio=
Shear Modulus=
Thermal Expansion Coeff=
Density=0.097000 lb/in^3 (I have this one)
Thermal Conductivity=
Specific Heat=
Tensile Strength=
Yields Strength=

Thanks for your help,

Check this thread thread559-177747 Chris included 5052 in his file. But it does seem strange that 5052 is not included in the material database since its use is mostly for sheet metal parts.

Thanks Heckler. A star for you.

Thanks Heckler. I included 5052 and others as well.
All the materials had been tested with designs that were approved with major aerospace companies and military. If you see errors, please let me know. Thanks.
