Hello,

I've got a 2500A, 600V run to put in, and I'd like to use 15x1c-350MCM 100% spaced as per CEC Table 1 (Canadian project). My question is what would be the optimal conductor and phasing arrangement to minimize the inductive reactance differences. Any tips or references would be much appreciated.

Thanks

I saw an installation years ago with a product called, as I recall, Flexi-Bus.
It was similar to a maple block system but the spacers were a composite of some sort.
A every spacer, about one meter on centres, every cable changed position, until every cable occupied each spacer position.
For 5 or 6 wide and 3 or 4 deep, and 1000 MCM cables the labour was outrageous.

Here is shown mphusky cable bus. Straight runs of cable, no change of position in the spacers.

Imagine mphusky Cable Bus, on steroids, with a twist!
Any savings on possible losses would take many years to pay back the extra labour.
