I have a thread in the Automotive Engineering forum I'd like you guys to take a look at dealing with the heat capacity of the rubber used in A-arm mounts. Comments welcome...

Recommended for you

Most rubbers will not take anything near as hot as 400 - 500°F. However, for brief, intermittent periods only, silicone rubbers and one or two grades of Viton will be OK at up to 300°C (570°F).
