4 axis tool path generation

Can someone help in generating a 4 axis tool path for the groove of this part?
I have tried but there are many retracting moves and its not a smooth path.

Well I found the main piece which needs to be machined. This is it. I just need to know how to get the tool path for the groove.

Create the center curve of the groove, the part is a single D36 cylinder,
variable_contour, tool axis normal to part, method is point/curve, projection normal to part.
