3dxf-2-iges-2-pro/e

Looking for neutral formats useful for Pro/Engineer import reached me to 3Dcafe and other free 3D model download pages.
So far so good. It is nice to watch different vrml, dxf and 3ds files with either Pro/Flythrough and/or demoversions of e.g. 3D view actify etc. Researches for 3d studio got me the information that iges import is possible with 3d studio max but not export !!! %-(
But...
most interessting would be to reach to iges files importable for pro/engineer and/or some 3dxf2iges converter out there somewhere.
Enybody experienced ways to get Pro/E models out of other (neutral) 3d formats?

Marcela, Sorry I do not have autocad2000 and therefor I can't install any xchangeworks plugin. Thanks for the tip anyway.
