Hello everyone,
I have implemented an elastoplastic material into the subroutine vumat in order to simulate the deep drawing process.
Here, I want to treat the 3D case with plane stress.
How can I introduce it in the subroutine ?

Thanks for your help !
Sincerely,

In such case you have to introduce some modifications to the subroutine, including the definition of thickness strain increment. You can find the details in the documentation for VUMAT (paragraph "Special considerations for various element types" —> "Shell and plane stress elements").

Okay thank you very much FEA way!
