Hi Guys,

Does anyone got any experience with 3 level of steam(40bar;10bar;3bar) inlets to condensing steam turbine (about 25MW : Siemens/Alstom machine)? What is the complexity in terms of design & operation?

Any advise?

Thanks

Hi Guys,

Anyone got some idea about the complexity of operating this kind of steam turbine?

Thanks

Norzul,

Can you give us any more details about the machine? What type of controls (if any) there are on the second two inlets, temperatures of the inlet steam, etc?

If there are inlet controls, are they cam operated, electronic, etc? What?

Your machine is not very common in my experience, but others may have much more experience than I do in this regard. I usually see machines with two stages of extraction, not inlet, unless you are using a terminology that is not common to us either.

Rmw,

Photos tell us thousand words, so please refer to my technical blog:

The control system is simplified one. I don't have the detailed with me, but once available I'll publish...

Thanks
