Hello, folks,
We did a 3" cement high pressure piping, wall thickness is 0.75" as spec. request, material is AISI 4130N, which come out 3.625"OD x 2.125"ID.
But right now they want us to find some equations from ASME B31.3 to proof it worked for 10,000psi.
I find a equation at 304.1.1 (3a) from B31.3, but some coefficient is not for t>D/6.
The table A-1 also show A333, Grade B as we used are working under 10,000psi.
Then ASTM A519 discriped AISI 4130N working.
But they need equations.
So please help me.
Thanks a lot.

Did you check out ASME B31.3 Chapter IX ?

Equations for high pressure pipe wall thickness are in para K304.1.2.

Thanks.
It looks I made a mistake to use 304.1.2 instead of K304.1.2
