Dear all,

Am currently working on a problem I have with my CO2 Compressor, the outlet pressure seems to fluctuate for no reason, although I have not changed anything I can think of, it was working fine before. please help if you have any ideas.

This is probably a very simple problem to resolve; but without any specific and detailed data other than the name of the gas, no one can even offer a guess at what you have – much less hit on any credible resolution.

As you certainly should be aware, we need to know:

The type of compressor; the size, the drive, the interstage & discharge pressure(s) as well as the temperatures and which pressure is fluctuating. Why is this a “microcompressor”?
How long has the compressor been working on this process?
Have you made any modifications recently? When did the fluctuations start? What is the magnitude of the fluctuations?
Where is the CO2 coming from and where is it headed? Is there any variance in flow? Are there capacity controls on the process or the compressor?

I’ll await your reply.
