Hi!
Can anyone tell me how to generate 3 phase voltage in matlab with Simulink!
I know it is not a big deal, and I have a solution, but it just won't work the way it should!
Thanx !

So, what are you doing and why do you say it isn't working the way it should?

I’m running a MATLAB simulation of a 3 phase induction motor! Everything is written down how to assemble the blocks in Simulink, I did everything accordingly but my results of the simulation don’t match the real values!I started looking for mistakes, and when I connected a scope to the 3 phase voltage, discovered that the peak values of the 3 phase voltages are to close to each other, they should be arranged proportionally in a cycle.Lets say the cycle time is 40, the first peak should be at 0, the second at 13.33, the third 26.67!I made some corrections to achieve these results, but the final results still don’t match!Any advice??I’m desperate to find the mistake!?(I started thinking that the simulation itself has a mistake, but if that is the case I’m afraid I wont’t find the mistake!)

You still haven't said what you are doing. I'm not that great with Matlab or Simulink and may not know the answer when there becomes enough information to begin to answer, but if you supply enough information someone may know the answer.

Well, you know, either Matlab is broken, or you, "did everything accordingly," but wrongly. Those are the only two options. Gotta believe that Matlab can't screw up something that simple, which leaves operator error.

So complaining about the operator error without revealing what the operator did is rather pointless, don't you think?

This site went to the bother of providing an upload facility specifically for people like you. So take advantage of it.

Is yourproblem with the scope or with mathlab?
Is this a multiple trace scope?
Are your scope channels isolated?
Is your three phase wye or delta?
Was there a flash and a bang when you connected the last scope probe?
Is one of your channels inverted on the scope?

Thank you for your support, but in the meantime I discovered the mistake, which is a bit embarrassing!-)))
You know, pi sometimes means 3.14 or 180, this time I mixed them up, instead of using 3.14 I used 180!
Now, I'm facing difficulties when computing the ids, iqs, idr, iqr from Vds,Vqs, Vdr,Vqr!
But don't bother I've already found useful literature!
Thanx once again!

Hello zolka;
Thank you for the feed back.
