I am looking for a 3Ø 208VAC cabinet with a single 400A breaker that will need an auxiliary contact for the state of the breaker and will need to be NEMA 3R or 4. Has anyone used anything similar? I do not know what to look for as far as manufacturers and breaker types. Also, I have never seen a breaker with an auxiliary contact. Thanks!

That is very common. Ask the same vendor, whom you would go to buy a regular breaker.

A shunt trip is a optional device to trip the breaker from an outside signal. The coil has an operating voltage.

For one example of auxiliary contacts, search for CA01200002E.PDF [pg.223] at the Eaton/Cutler-Hammer website. These are available for “aftermarket” installation in industrial-grade interchangeable-trip molded-case breakers.
