Does anyone have any suggestions or know of any papers on how one might go about analyzing a 2D cross section by incorporating 3D effects? I am trying to determine the exit gradient of an excavation surrounded on three sides by waterways...I was told I should look into seepage analysis around river bends since the modelling characteristics are similar.
